Ipsum in the Midlands is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead major contracts in the ICP/DNO/IDNO sector. You will drive delivery, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain high service standards across projects.
Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering projects on time and within budget, while promoting continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

You will be responsible for providing strong leadership, contract management, project delivery, and strategic planning. Customer driven within the Power Division, ensuring safety, financial and operational targets are met or exceeded, maintaining exceptional customer service levels across all the projects they are responsible for.
Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific projects.
You will be manage multiple projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget, with the management of all financial aspects of the projects and Produce PO’s and order plant and all other items relating to the projects and ensure all extra works/variations are costed and invoiced. Provide cost value reconciliation for projects/contracts and ensure all sub-contracts are approved in line with the company policies and ensure project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H.
Assist in costing schemes for quotations and identify and inform Directors / Senior Managers of commercial opportunities as appropriate. Work in accordance with project programs to ensure dates and milestones are achieved to ensure projects are completed on time, first time.
Actively monitor performance of all site staff including subcontractors with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated, with remedies implemented and monitor performance and safety requirements regularly and implement improvements.
Survey and quote individual projects based on a contract schedule of rates and resources are adequate for the workload and that projects are delivered in an economic and timely manner.
Be proactive in promoting continuous improvement and innovation in our working methodology and work closely with the support team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and progress is monitored.
Client reporting and liaison including arranging progress meetings and client audits with Subcontractor monitoring
