Job summary

Quartzelec is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead low voltage distribution cable upgrade projects across our Utilities business. You will own delivery from inception to completion, managing budgets, teams and client relationships within established framework contracts with DNO and private sector clients.

We want a commercially aware leader who can drive profitability, improve processes and ensure安全 delivery to high standards, while developing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Project Manager role, ideally within utilities, power distribution, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience handling the financial responsibility of projects.
• Strong commercial understanding with experience managing budgets, profitability, and contractual obligations.
• Demonstrable PM experience, ideally within a DNO framework (Desirable).
• Demonstrable experience leading operational teams and managing subcontractors.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and develop teams.
• Commercially focused with a strong awareness of business performance and profitability.
• Proactive, organised, and capable of managing competing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

At Quartzelec, we're delivering vital infrastructure projects that help keep communities connected and powered. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of low voltage distribution cable upgrade projects across our Utilities business.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects from inception through to completion, managing operational delivery, financial performance, customer relationships, and team development. You'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation for safe, high-quality project delivery while driving profitability and continuous improvement.

Working within established framework contracts for DNO and private sector clients, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
