Job summary

BT Group in the UK seeks a Project Manager for the PMO within Security. You’ll lead end-to-end programme delivery, govern project offices, manage risk, quality, and reporting, and partner with boards as required.

Hybrid role in London or Ipswich, DV security clearance required; 4 days in office, 1 day remote; 37.5 hours. You’ll work with diverse teams and help shape national security projects.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

About the role

The PMO Support Office is an integral part of the organisation and is responsible for the lead provision of project office services and support, including Document Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, and Management Reporting. The team also provides secretarial support to selected internal and external boards, including the capture of meeting decisions and ensuring progress on actions arising from meetings. Proactively provides best practice advice, guidance and standards across a range of PMO services under the supervision of a PMO Lead. This includes the implementation and application of agreed governance standards, tools and techniques.

This job role can be based in London or Ipswich. Hybrid (4 days office based & 1 day remote). Mon-Fri 37.5. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What you’ll be doing

• E2E delivery for all requirements, underpinning growth and NPS
