Job summary

BT Group is seeking a PMO Practice Manager to build and lead a UK-based Delivery PMO community within BT Business. You’ll coach, develop and set clear expectations while delivering governance, assurance and portfolio support.

You will partner with PMO leads and senior stakeholders to anticipate capability needs, drive continuous improvement and enable successful customer outcomes across a transformed, AI-enabled services portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large teams with coaching and performance improvement.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leaders.
• PMO governance, assurance, controls, reporting and best practice.
• Desirable: lead PMO function or community within a large delivery org.
• Desirable: PMO transformation, operating model change or capability improvement.
• Desirable: PMO standards, methodologies or service catalogues.
• Desirable: workforce planning, talent development or succession planning.
• Hold a relevant PMO, project or programme management qualification.
• Hold current SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a UK-based Delivery PMO community with coaching and development.
• Build a Community of Practice for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Improve PMO governance, assurance, standards and ways of working.
