Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London is seeking a Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary team. You will manage your own programs and support senior colleagues on larger schemes, spanning rail, civil engineering and Environment Agency work.
This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle, from planning through delivery, with opportunities to develop technical, commercial and client-facing skills, while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
London | Construction Consultancy | Permanent
I'm recruiting on behalf of an established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its growing Infrastructure team in London.
This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who wants the backing, resources and project portfolio of a large consultancy, but with the close-knit environment and individual exposure of a much smaller team.
You'll be joining a business with an impressive presence across the built environment, working alongside experienced professionals on a varied portfolio of infrastructure projects, including rail, aviation, civil engineering and Environment Agency schemes.
The team is small enough for you to make a genuine impact, take ownership and build strong relationships with senior colleagues and clients, while benefiting from the wider expertise and opportunities that come with being part of a much larger organisation.
If you're looking for a role where you can develop your career, broaden your project experience and take on increasing responsibility, this could be an excellent next move.
As Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to manage your own projects while supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex infrastructure programmes.
You'll gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, from early planning and development through delivery and close-out, with plenty of opportunity to develop your technical, commercial and client-facing capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
I'm keen to speak with Project Managers who have gained experience within a construction consultancy environment and have an interest in developing their career within infrastructure.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience of design management, client-side delivery or major infrastructure programmes would also be beneficial.
Just as importantly, my client is looking for someone with the right attitude - someone proactive, commercially aware and keen to develop, who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to play an active part in the team's continued growth.
What makes this role particularly attractive is the balance between the scale of the business and the size of the team you'll actually be working within.
The backing of a large consultancy - access to an established business, wider expertise and an extensive project portfolio.
The visibility of a smaller team - work closely with senior professionals, build relationships and have your contribution recognised.
Excellent project exposure - gain experience across a range of infrastructure sectors, from smaller schemes to major programmes.
Genuine career development - opportunities to take on greater responsibility, strengthen your capabilities and progress within the business.
A collaborative environment - become part of a team where you can learn from experienced colleagues while making your own mark.
This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager who wants more than simply moving from one project to another. It's a chance to establish yourself within a growing infrastructure team, gain broader exposure and build a long-term career within a well-established consultancy.
