Project Manager - Rail Infrastructure
Manchester | Construction Consultancy | Permanent
Are you a Project Manager with rail or infrastructure experience looking for a role where you can get closer to major projects, build your client exposure and genuinely develop your career?
I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy looking to strengthen its Manchester infrastructure team with an experienced Project Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established business with an impressive presence across the built environment, while joining a team where you can have real visibility and involvement in the projects you deliver.
You'll be working across rail and wider infrastructure projects, with exposure to major programmes and frameworks from delivery through to implementation. The role will suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of project delivery - working with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders to keep complex projects moving.
As Project Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of rail and infrastructure projects, taking responsibility across programme, cost, risk, governance and stakeholder coordination.
Your role will include:
I'm keen to speak with Project Managers who already have experience within rail or major infrastructure and are looking for a position offering both interesting project work and long-term progression.
You'll ideally have:
Experience gained within a construction consultancy or client-side environment would be particularly beneficial.
Those working towards professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM are also of interest.
This is more than an opportunity to join another rail project.
You'll be joining a large, established consultancy with the capability to secure major infrastructure programmes, while still having the opportunity to build your profile, work closely with experienced professionals and take on increasing responsibility as your career develops.
There is excellent scope to broaden your experience, strengthen your commercial and contractual knowledge and develop your position within the infrastructure sector.
For someone ambitious who wants major-project exposure without becoming lost in a huge team, this could be a very interesting next step.
