Job summary

You will oversee site staff and ensure on-time delivery of large-scale projects, guiding, managing and motivating the team. The role requires demonstrable project management experience in construction, CSCS card, and a track record of meeting deadlines. Desirable qualifications include SMSTS, First Aid, and related degrees.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee project progress and cost control while managing the site team and subcontractors.
• Lead regular meetings including weekly contract, pre-start, technical and progress meetings.
• Promote health and safety practices on site.
• Mentor and train staff as required.
• Develop tender programme into construction programme and determine construction methods.
• Identify and resolve construction problems.
• Carry out and oversee daily site inspections.
• Interact with public and local authorities and NHBC; place relevant orders.
• Investigate delays or accidents and ensure correct procedures.
• Ensure labour and materials for site are adequately overseen.

Job description

A great opportunity for a Project Manager is available to join a reputable Main Construction Contractor. The role will be based near Tayside and you will be responsible for a number of site staff whilst making sure that projects are successfully delivered. We are looking for a Project Manager who can demonstrate experience overseeing large scale projects whilst displaying the ability to guide, manage and motivate others.

• Liaising regularly with the Management Teams.
• Oversee project progress and cost control whilst managing the site team/ sub-contractors.

• Develop tender programme into a construction programme and determine appropriate construction methods.

Essential:
