Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• Valid CSCS card.
• First Aid qualification.
• Experience delivering construction projects for a main contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing construction projects from inception through to completion and client handover.
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting Site Managers, site staff, and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials, and site logistics to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Monitoring progress against programme and implementing solutions to mitigate delays.
• Ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintaining compliance with health & safety procedures, quality management systems, and site regulations.
• Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Managing site records, daily diaries, inspections, and project documentation.
• Overseeing quality control, snagging, and completion processes.
• Ensuring site welfare, housekeeping, and safety records are maintained at all times.

The client, a highly respected main contractor, is looking for a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of major construction projects across the East of Scotland. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing construction projects from inception through to completion and client handover

About You

• Previous experience in a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager position within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and project delivery
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice within construction
• IT proficient, including Microsoft Office and common construction management software
• Full UK driving licence
