Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd. are working with an established main contractor to appoint an experienced Project Manager for delivering high-quality construction projects across the Central Belt of Scotland.

You will take ownership from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams. You will lead site teams, develop programmes, manage budgets and procurement, and maintain high safety and quality standards while reporting to senior

• Proven experience delivering construction projects for a main contractor.
• Experience taking projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction, programming, procurement and project delivery.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Conrad Consulting are working with an established main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

With a strong pipeline of work across the Central Belt of Scotland, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of high-quality construction projects while working for a well-established and forward-thinking contractor. This company deal with a variety of projects including, retail, commercial, healthcare and education developments from start to finish.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

The Role of the Project Manager:

As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects from pre-start through to practical completion and handover.
• Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Developing and managing project programmes.

Requirements of the Project Manager:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven main contractor background with:

• Proven experience delivering construction projects for a main contractor.
• Experience taking projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction, programming, procurement and project delivery.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• Relevant construction qualification or degree.
• SMSTS and CSCS.
• Full UK driving licence.
