Job summary

Fairmead Managed Services LTD in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own refurbishment, CAT A/B fit-out projects and manage programmes, budgets and client relations with autonomy.

You will lead from pre-con to handover, chair meetings, control costs and ensure safety across the project lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on CDM/H&S compliance and subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• Solid PM background in commercial construction and fit-out.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle.
• Able to interpret drawings and contract documentation.
• SMSTS desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

Project Manager | Cambridge | £50,000-£55,000 + Package

Well-established family-run main contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Cambridge team — refurbishment, CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across a solid client portfolio.

You’ll take full ownership of projects from pre-con through to handover — main point of contact for clients, managing subcontractors, chairing meetings, controlling costs and keeping programmes on track. A proper PM role with real autonomy across a range of sectors.
