Job summary

Reed, headquartered in Peterborough, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee interior fit-out and refurbishment projects nationwide for a growing specialist contractor. You will manage multiple projects, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role offers a competitive salary (£45-50K) with car allowance, private healthcare and a supportive, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within construction, fire protection, drylining, ceilings, partitioning or fit-out
• Strong knowledge of contracts, regulations and construction processes
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and project management experience
• Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple interior fit-out projects
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors and site teams
• Planning and coordinating project programmes
• Ensuring health & safety compliance across all works
• Managing subcontractors, materials and project resources
• Monitoring project performance, cost control and quality standards

Are you an experienced Project Manager with experience working for a construction contractor?

I’ve been retained on a Project Manager vacancy for a well-established and growing interior fit-out and refurbishment business that has been supporting the UK commercial sector since 2011. Specialising in partitions, suspended ceilings, drylining and passive fire protection, they pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects with a personal, professional approach.

This is honestly a superb contractor who I already have a candidate working for. They are doing extremely well and are very busy. That is the reason for this new role where they want to add to their contract & project management team to free up Paul the Director.

The Role
