Job summary

The Company in London is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple schemes from feasibility through on-site delivery. CAT B fit-out experience is highly desirable, and you will be multi-skilled to handle projects valued from £200k to £2m.

You will build client relationships, manage costs from cost plan to final account, select and supervise sub-contractors, and ensure compliance with CDM/H&S laws.

Role: Project Manager

The Company

This Project Manager’s role is with one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplined property company’s offering a wide range of services to a multi-national client base. Part of their offering includes acting as a principal main contractor on projects for their clients existing property portfolio’s including commercial fit out, moves and changes and general refurbishment schemes with values from £200k – £2million.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of managing multiple schemes at any one time. For this role it is essential that you ideally have CAT B fit out experience, you will need to be multi-skilled and be able to take projects from feasibility through to on-site delivery. Project values will range from £200k – £2m and the key skills you will need are:

• Client Facing – ability to develop client relationships.
• Commercial awareness – be able to manage the entire project costs from cost plan to final account.
• Networking skills – be able to assist in business development and securing a pipeline of project opportunities.
• Fully competent with Project Management techniques – Be able to deliver projects on time and on budget whilst following internal and external management processes and structures.
• Sub-contractor selection and management – Advise on procurement and provide expertise on sub-contractor capability.
• Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation – Ensure that all projects meet their statutory obligations for CDM and H&S,
