University of Cumbria is seeking apprenticeship support tutors to assist learners, academics and employers, ensuring progress and compliance with apprenticeship funding requirements.

The role is primarily pastoral, using coaching to help learners grow academically, professionally and personally within the University environment. Caseloads are managed with quarterly reviews, with a supportive, inclusive team culture and hybrid working patterns.

Responsibilities

• Join the team of apprenticeship support tutors and work closely with academics, learners and their employers to ensure progress is made and funding requirements are met.
• Support learners using coaching techniques to develop academically, professionally and personally through their University experience.
• Each tutor will manage a caseload and conduct structured reviews every 3 months.
