Job summary

The LMP Group is seeking a Teaching Support Apprenticeship Tutor to plan and deliver Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships up to Level 3, and to manage e-portfolio records for learners. You will assess progress, support progression, and contribute to quality improvement across programmes.

Delivering Functional Skills and maintaining engagement with employers are key parts of the role, with a strong emphasis on inclusive teaching and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualifications at Level 3/5 or equivalent are essential.
• DET/DtTLS/CertEd(FE) is essential.
• At least two years' experience in a TA environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schemes of work and session plans as directed by the Quality Team.
• Deliver Functional Skills qualifications as part of an apprenticeship.
• Maintain up-to-date learner records (e-portfolio and caseload tracker) per procedures.
• Provide progression and achievement information for the course.
• Contribute to self-assessment and continuous improvement.
• Deliver Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships up to Level 3.
• Undertake initial assessment of learners and assess performance in the workplace.
• Engage with employers to maintain engagement and curriculum sequencing.
• Lead regular progress reviews and provide guidance to help learners reach goals.
