Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a Project Interface Lead to coordinate between MOJ project teams, contractors, and GFSL maintenance staff at HMP Highpoint and HMP Chelmsford. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at Basildon with travel between sites.

The role requires strong communication, risk mitigation, and the ability to sustain project handover to operations. IOSH and SMSTS certifications are preferred, and prison-environment experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating interfaces between project teams and maintenance teams.
• IOSH and SMSTS certifications.
• Experience in a prison environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the communicator between MOJ project teams, contractors, stakeholders, and GFSL operational maintenance teams to support project delivery.
• Manage site-based project interfaces and coordinate across parties to mitigate risks.
• Ensure continuity between project implementation and business-as-usual maintenance activities.
• Provide operational support to GFSL Supervisors and Site Managers for informed decision-making and smooth project handover.
