Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) seeks a Project Interface Lead to join the team at HMP Highpoint and HMP Chelmsford. This fixed-term role covers two sites, with travel between locations and a 39-hour week.

You will act as the communicator between MOJ project teams, contractors and GFSL maintenance teams, coordinating interfaces, resolving issues, and supporting project delivery of substantial expansion works. IOSH and SMSTS are required, and prison-environment experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• IOSH certification.
• SMSTS certification.
• Experience working in a similar role in a prison environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between MOJ project teams, contractors, stakeholders and GFSL maintenance teams.
• Coordinate interfaces across sites to support delivery of expansion works.
• Mitigate operational risks and ensure smooth handover to BAU maintenance.
• Provide operational support to GFSL Supervisors and Site Managers.
