Job summary

Careys in Milton Keynes seeks an experienced Project Handover Manager for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. You will lead handovers across multiple sites, ensure documents like O&M manuals and certificates are accurate and delivered on time, and work with clients, subcontractors and regulators to achieve compliant close-outs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in project delivery, quality assurance or compliance.
• Experience delivering handover documentation.
• Knowledge of legislation, ISO standards and CDM.

Responsibilities

• Lead project handovers across sites.
• Ensure O&M manuals, as-built drawings and certificates are complete.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and regulators for compliant handovers.
• Develop handover checklists and procedures.
• Monitor readiness and report compliance across projects.
• Support internal audits and implement corrective actions.
• Improve consistency and efficiency of handover processes.
• Provide training to project teams.
• Ensure alignment with Building Safety Act and CDM regulations.
• Capture lessons learned for future handovers.
