Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer to join an established engineering projects team delivering bespoke mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. You will own projects from contract award through installation, commissioning and final acceptance, collaborating with design, production and customers.

Candidates should hold a mechanical engineering degree, have experience in project/design engineering, strong drawing/documentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience in project or design engineering is advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate engineering design solutions into live projects.
• Identify, assess and manage technical risks throughout execution.
• Prepare specifications for outsourced components and services.
• Produce and manage installation, commissioning and documentation.
• Respond to customer technical queries and provide support.
• Lead risk assessments and design specifications.
• Compile and close Technical Construction Files.
• Act as technical lead during installation, commissioning and trials.
