Job summary

TipTopJob in Warwick is recruiting a Project Design Engineer to develop innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions from concept through to installation and commissioning. You will work with cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical design, 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor), and BOM creation, with a focus on manufacturability and cost efficiency. Excellent communication and ownership of design activities are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design and project engineering
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
• Experience producing detailed drawings and BOMs
• Strong engineering principles and manufacturing process knowledge
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ownership of design activities from concept to delivery

Responsibilities

• Producing 3D CAD models, drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Designing mechanical components, assemblies and engineered systems.
• Supporting New Product Development activities.
• Designing cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.
• Performing engineering calculations and verification.
• Managing technical documentation and drawing revisions.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Supporting projects through design, manufacture, assembly, testing and commissioning.
