EQUANS is seeking a Project Engineer – Mechanical for our Data Centre business in High Wycombe. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards while coordinating on-site construction processes.

Job description

Equans Data Center is seeking to appoint a Project Engineer – Mechanical, to support our growing Data Centre business in High Wycombe.

We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients’ Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our innovative team for projects based in the UK, initially based in High Wycombe.

What you will deliver
  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
  • Assist with coordinating and controlling the on‑site construction process, ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
  • Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
  • Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings in the absence of the Site or Project Manager
  • Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials
  • Record keeping (diary, drawing register, H&S, COSHH Assessments, as‑built drawings, level & foundations records, site H&S file)
  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety requirements
