Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Project Engineer for a Leeds-based role in North England. The engineer will oversee refrigeration and HVAC projects from design to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

You will coordinate documentation, procurement and subcontractors, producing RAMS and project programmes while serving as the main contact for customers and internal teams. A strong focus on safety, cost control and successful handover is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage refrigeration and HVAC projects from design through to commissioning, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets
• Coordinate project documentation, procurement, subcontractors, and on-site labour resources
• Produce and manage RAMS, project programmes, and technical documentation
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal departments throughout project delivery
• Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability while ensuring successful handover and resolution of commissioning issues
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and relevant industry regulations

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Project Management role within refrigeration or HVAC
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and industry regulations
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating project delivery
• Engineering qualifications desirable
• CSCS or CDM experience advantageous
