Job summary

Wr HVAC in Leeds is seeking a Project Engineer to manage refrigeration and HVAC projects from design to commissioning. The role requires coordinating documentation, procurement, and on-site labour across UK projects while maintaining budgets and timelines.

You will be the main contact for customers and suppliers, monitor costs and variations, and ensure health and safety compliance. Engineering qualifications are desirable and CSCS/CDM experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Project Management role within refrigeration or HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating project delivery.
• Engineering qualifications desirable.
• CSCS or CDM experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage refrigeration and HVAC projects from design through to commissioning, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Coordinate project documentation, procurement, subcontractors, and on-site labour resources.
• Produce and manage RAMS, project programmes, and technical documentation.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal departments throughout project delivery.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability while ensuring successful handover and resolution of commissioning issues.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and relevant industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
