Job summary

True Consulting Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of major data centre cooling projects across the UK. You will own projects from order through to delivery, coordinating with sales, engineering, manufacturing and project teams.

You will work with chillers, CRAH and CRAC applications, managing costs, timelines and stakeholders to ensure successful handovers and project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC project engineering or project management.
• Exposure to data centre/mission-critical projects is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of chillers, CRAH or CRAC systems is important.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Mechanical/HVAC engineering background is preferred.
• HNC/HND or degree is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from order through to completion.
• Support the delivery of data centre and mission-critical cooling projects.
• Work across chillers, CRAH and CRAC applications.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors and internal engineering teams.
• Monitor project costs, margins, programmes and delivery.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and project reviews.
• Support equipment testing, factory visits and project handovers.
• Resolve technical and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Engineer - Data Centre Cooling

We're working with a global HVAC manufacturer who are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support the delivery of major data centre projects across the UK.

The role will see you take ownership of projects from order through to delivery, working across critical cooling applications including chillers, CRAH and CRAC units. You'll act as a key point of contact for customers while coordinating closely with sales, engineering, manufacturing and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage HVAC projects from order through to completion
• Support the delivery of data centre and mission-critical cooling projects
• Work across chillers, CRAH and CRAC applications
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors and internal engineering teams
• Monitor project costs, margins, programmes and delivery
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and project reviews
• Support equipment testing, factory visits and project handovers

Ideal Background:

• Experience within HVAC project engineering or project management

• Circa £50,000 basic salary
