Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in engineering, HVAC or process cooling to lead customer projects from initial planning through to installation and commissioning. You'll coordinate with customers, sales teams, suppliers and engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required technical and commercial standards.

The role requires strong communication and stakeholder management, with travel nationally and occasionally

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager within an engineering environment.
• Intermediate Commercial project management experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, process cooling, refrigeration or industrial cooling systems is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD.
• UK driving licence with willingness to travel nationally and occasionally overseas.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering projects from procurement through to delivery.
• Manage project budgets, resources, costs and timescales.
• Develop project plans and coordinate equipment and subcontractors.
• Work with Sales Engineers on site visits, technical solutions, costings and quotations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Support HVAC and process cooling design, installation and commissioning.
• Manage engineers and site teams, ensuring quality and health and safety standards are met.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, providing support throughout each project.

Our client, a leading provider of HVAC technical solutions is looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of customer projects from initial planning through to installation and commissioning.
