Job summary

Via East Midlands Limited is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Strategic Maintenance Delivery team at our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. You will design and deliver highway maintenance projects, ensuring quality, programme and budget targets are met.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, strong CAD skills and experience with NEC4 contracts. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Proficiency in CAD software and engineering data management systems.
Knowledge of highway and civil engineering design standards.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver highway construction and maintenance projects, ensuring quality, programme and budget targets are met.
Design and manage individual projects in line with NEC4 contracts.
Provide specialist technical, design and cost advice on complex infrastructure projects.
Review externally designed schemes for compliance with design and safety standards.
Work with Construction and Commercial teams to support business objectives.
