HS2 Ltd in Manchester seeks an experienced civil/mechanical engineer to deliver cost-effective, safe design solutions and support the Senior Project Engineer. You will review PSC submissions, ensure compliance with standards, and engage with stakeholders to provide scheme updates.
You will assist in managing the design programme, inform on emerging issues, and work with consultants to deliver compliant design work. Strong collaboration and EV/EDI emphasis.
Base salary: £41,092 pa to £48,344 pa depending on skills and experience.

Deliver cost-effective and safe design solutions that comply with project and statutory requirements, supporting the Senior Project Engineer. Review and assess technical submissions from Professional Service Consultants (PSCs), determining compliance with standards and requirements. Engage with stakeholders and internal subject matter experts to provide scheme updates and to help inform the design.
