Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee circa 25m of live commercial fit-out work across 2–3 concurrent projects in central London.

You will lead project teams, manage client and consultant relationships at a senior level, and drive pre-construction through to handover with a strong emphasis on programme, procurement, risk and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong background in London commercial office fit out.
• Proven experience delivering Cat A and Cat B projects.
• Ability to lead multiple projects up to 20m–30m+ and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of 2 - 3 concurrent commercial fit out projects.
• Oversee a combined project value of approximately 25m.
• Lead project teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Manage client, consultant and subcontractor relationships at a senior level.
• Take ownership of programme, commercial performance, procurement, risk and quality.
• Provide leadership and direction across multiple project teams.
• Drive projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Support the wider business with client relationships, pre-construction and future opportunities.

We are working exclusively with a leading London commercial fit out contractor to appoint an experienced Project Director to oversee circa 25m of live work across 2 - 3 concurrent projects.

The business has a strong reputation within the London commercial market, delivering high-quality CAT-A, CAT-B and refurbishment projects for leading clients.

The Opportunity

This role would suit either:

• An established Project Director currently delivering projects in the 12m - 30m range.
• A high-calibre Senior Project Manager who is ready to step up into a Project Director position and take responsibility for multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of 2 - 3 concurrent commercial fit out projects.
• Oversee a combined project value of approximately 25m.
• Lead project teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
• Manage client, consultant and subcontractor relationships at a senior level.

About You

• Strong background in London commercial office fit out.
• Proven experience delivering Cat A and Cat B projects.
• Ideally experienced leading projects up to 20m - 30m+.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent client-facing skills.
• Confident leader with the ability to manage and develop project teams.
• Ambitious Senior PMs with the capability to step up to PD level are encouraged to apply.
