Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in the United Kingdom seeks a Project Design Engineer to lead the design of water and wastewater infrastructure, coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical and process disciplines from outline through detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover.

The role offers flexible working from home, office and site, opportunities to progress toward chartership, mentorship and structured development within a multi-disciplinary team across a major framework with Dŵr Cymru

Qualifications

• Accredited Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Process or Electrical).
• Outline and detailed design experience on water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate the project team including civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and technical specialists to deliver on programme and budget.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and promote a collaborative, 'one-team' approach with client and assurance teams.
