Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Project Leader to drive the design of water and wastewater projects from outline through to handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage design quality, and work within client timeframes and budgets.

The role supports professional development and chartership, with flexible working across home, office and site, within a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Process or Electrical engineering.
• Incorporated Member of Engineering Institution.
• Outline and detailed design experience of water or wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of the Designer or Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and specialists to meet programme, budget and quality targets.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and promote a collaborative, one-team approach with clients’ project teams.
