Job summary

GCHQ is seeking a Project Support Officer to help plan, govern and deliver projects across the organisation. The role involves planning, scheduling, risk management, governance, stakeholder engagement and change control.

You’ll work with Project Managers and teams to maintain quality information, support delivery, and build expertise across project controls while operating in a collaborative, professional environment. Flexible working options exist with on‑site requirements.

Qualifications

• Four GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
• Experience in a PMO, project controls or delivery environment.
• Strong Excel and data handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling, risk and governance for projects.
• Maintain high‑quality information and reporting for delivery teams.
• Engage with stakeholders and assist with financial control and change management.
