Job summary

GCHQ is seeking a Project Manager to lead a range of projects from initiation to completion. You’ll coordinate scope, plans, schedules and cost, and guide risks, issues and dependencies. You’ll engage with colleagues, suppliers, customers and partners to maintain delivery momentum.

You’ll work within a well‑established project management community, learning to tailor planning and reporting to suit context, with strong emphasis on timely, confident decisions and collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least four GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent Level 2 qualifications.
• Experience supporting project delivery and taking ownership of projects.
• Understanding of project controls and the role of risk, issue and change management.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues to maintain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Provide updates and recommendations to support timely decisions.
