Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Project Coordinator for a leading technology client in the oil & gas sector, based in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire. The role is a 6-month contract with hybrid working and a rate of £25/hour PAYE. Working hours are 37.5 per week with an 8:30am–5:00pm schedule and a one-hour lunch break.

Overtime is not applicable. The role focuses on delivering aftermarket requirements within scope, maintaining budget, and providing effective customer service.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend contractual conditions and specifications through Contract Review process.
• Manage projects through strip, overhaul, repair & upgrade with focus on delivery and margin.
• Manage parts & rental deliverables.
• Develop and issue shop packages and coordinate progress; highlight concerns affecting deadlines.
• Communicate with the Project Manager, department plants and customers for timely status updates.
• Organise meetings and issue minutes; maintain records of communications.
• Provide accurate status and progress reporting for financial forecasting and cash flow control.

Job description

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for a leading multi-national technology client for the oil & gas sector, based in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire.

This is an initial 6 months with possibility to extend depending on performance

Working hybrid

Rate: £25/h PAYE

Working Hours: 37.5 - 8.30am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

Overtime: Not applicable

To provide effective Customer Service to our Customers by interpreting their aftermarket requirements and ensuring that their agreed technical, commercial and legal scope of supply and or service is delivered to their satisfaction within budget.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

• Comprehend Customer contractual conditions and specifications through established Contract Review process.
• Managing projects through the strip, overhaul, repair & upgrade; ensuring delivery and margin are maintained/improved
• Management of parts & Rental deliverables
• Develop and issue shop packages corresponding to the plan and coordinate their effective and timely progress. Timely highlight and escape any concerns that may impact the agreed deadline.
• Actively and constructively communicate with the Project Manager, department Plant and the Customer to ensure status information is timely available throughout the work.
• Organise appropriate meetings in the course of the work and issue minutes.
• Maintain a record of all communications related to the work.
• Accurate status and progress reporting of orders to management for accurate financial forecasting including margin and cash flow enhancement through budget control, correct invoicing and reduction in aged receivables
• Provide project plans and status updates to customers in a timely manner whilst working on a recovery plan if required, ensuring client has the most accurate information and solutions to any issues as soon as practicably possible
• Participate in improvement programs

Education/Experience

• Degree qualified candidate within a technical discipline.

• Ability to manage time and resources effectively to meet Customer and company deadlines and requirements
