Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Scheduler to shape schedules for major projects across our UK operations. You will prepare baselines, run planning workshops, and ensure activities align with deliverables and contracting strategy.

You will update progress, analyze variances, and report on KPIs such as Earned Value, Schedule Performance and Cost Performance. Collaboration with cost controllers and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge.
• Knowledge of project management techniques (CPM, earned value, etc.).
• Credible experience in project planning, analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with clients and stakeholders and lead meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules and baselines.
• Chair planning workshops and develop schedules.
• Ensure activities link to project deliverables and contracts.
• Update schedule progress and validate work completed.
• Identify variances and communicate to project team.
• Monitor KPIs like Earned Value and SPI/CPI.
• Collaborate with cost controller on variances.
• Forecast resources and hours with cost controller.
• Prepare reports, trends, and schedule analysis; lead progress meetings.
