Our Glasgow office is looking to expand its Project Controls Team and is currently recruiting a Project Controls Engineer to support projects across various sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Engineer to be part of our successful team. You will work with a diverse range of clients to deliver best practice controls, planning, analytics, reporting, risk, change, resource, and performance management solutions.

As a Project Controls Engineer with a planning bias, you should be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with project schedules to maintain momentum towards successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Collate progress data from multiple teams to update project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Gather cost data to support budget requests and update cost reports.
• Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline.
• Assist the Project Controls Manager with governance and assurance of project controls processes.

Qualifications

• A qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with some experience in a project control environment. Proactive, self-starting individuals with strong communication and analytical skills are preferred.
• Experience working in project or programme management, with responsibility for delivering or controlling projects, programmes, or portfolios.
• Experience with controls software such as Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of project controls concepts.
