An established industry player is seeking a skilled engineer to develop and execute modeling and simulation software for various projects. This role involves setting up and integrating simulators, ensuring robust testing and validation of control systems. Develop and execute modeling and simulation software, per controls requirements, across multiple projects. Perform simulator setup and integration of model, control software, screens, and project-specific technical requirements to establish robust testing and validation simulations and modeling. Develop control software coding as per standards and contractual requirements. Review and report all device discrepancies between P&IDs, signal lists, and other relevant inputs before software implementation. Perform data link configuration, screen configuration, and testing. Write control logic using ladder logic, statement list, block logic diagrams, and PLC/DCS engineering.
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field, plus one (1) year of experience in the offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Cimplicity, Toolbox ST, MS Visio, 3DExperience Enovia PLM, Collaboration Lifecycle Management (CLM), Mark VIe Virtual Controller, and Unity. Knowledge may be gained prior to or concurrently with the Master's degree. Willingness to travel to unanticipated client locations within the U.S., approximately 10%, as required. Telecommuting from any location within the U.S. is permitted.
