Job summary

MIGSO-PCUBED in London is seeking a motivated Project Controller / Project Scheduler to support major client projects. The role requires SC Cleared / Eligible, and sits in the Project Controls department as a permanent position.

You will manage schedules, monitor performance, identify risks, and oversee budgeting and cost control across complex initiatives, using ERP, Primavera and MS Project. Travel to client sites across the South East may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scheduling, planning, cost control and risk management.
• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as ERP, Primavera and MS Project.
• Familiarity with APM, PRINCE2 or PMP qualifications is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Management - Timeline Oversight: Ensure project activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted as needed while monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays.
• Performance Reporting - Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Developing and reporting KPIs to stakeholders.
• Risk Management – Identify Risks: Work with the project team to identify financial, scheduling, and resource-related risks.
• Financial Management and Cost Control – Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Monitoring.
• Tools and Systems Management - System Utilisation: Manage and optimise the use of project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).

Key Resposnsibilites

As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scheduling, financial health, and overall performance of a project

Our offices are based in London, but we work with clients across the South East.

Key responsibilities include,

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The successful candidate will have a combination of the below attributes – this is not a check list:

• Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management
• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
• A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
