Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning, cost control and risk management.
• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
• APM/PRINCE2/PMP qualification would be beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Management - Timeline Oversight: ensure activities are scheduled realistically and adjust as needed.
• Performance Reporting - Progress Tracking: monitor milestones and report KPIs to stakeholders.
• Risk Management – Identify Risks: identify financial, scheduling and resource risks with the team.
• Financial Management and Cost Control – budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring.
• Tools & Systems Management - System Utilisation: manage ERP/Primavera/MS Project usage.

Key Resposnsibilites

As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scheduling, financial health, and overall performance of a project

Our offices are based in London, but we work with clients across the South East.

Key responsibilities include,

• Schedule Management - Timeline Oversight: Ensure project activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted as needed while monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays.
• Performance Reporting - Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
• Risk Management – Identify Risks: Work with the project team to identify financial, scheduling, and resource-related risks.
• Financial Management and Cost Control – Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Monitoring
• Tools and Systems Management - System Utilisation: Manage and optimise the use of project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The successful candidate will have a combination of the below attributes – this is not a check list:

• Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management
• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
• A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
