Job summary

MIGSO-PCUBED is seeking a Project Controller in Manchester to oversee scheduling, financial health, and overall project performance. The role supports clients across the Northwest while leveraging ERP, Primavera, and MS Project to optimize delivery.

You will manage timelines, track KPIs, identify and mitigate risks, and coordinate budgeting and forecasting. APM/PRINCE2/PMP qualifications are advantageous for progression within our diverse, global client base.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scheduling, planning, cost control and risk management.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
• Qualified such as APM PMQ/PPQ, PRINCE2 or PMP is beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Management - Timeline Oversight: Ensure activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted to avoid delays.
• Performance Reporting - Progress Tracking: Monitor milestones and report KPIs to stakeholders.
• Risk Management – Identify Risks: Identify financial, scheduling and resource risks with the team.
• Financial Management and Cost Control – Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Monitoring.
• Tools and Systems Management - System Utilisation: Manage ERP, Primavera, MS Project and other tools.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scheduling, financial health, and overall performance of a project

Our offices are based in Manchester, but we work with clients across the Northwest.

Key responsibilities include,

• Schedule Management - Timeline Oversight: Ensure project activities are scheduled realistically and adjusted as needed while monitoring critical paths and dependencies to avoid delays.
• Performance Reporting - Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure timelines are met. Developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
• Risk Management – Identify Risks: Work with the project team to identify financial, scheduling, and resource-related risks.
• Financial Management and Cost Control – Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Monitoring
• Tools and Systems Management - System Utilisation: Manage and optimise the use of project management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Experience in Project Scheduling, Planning, Cost Control and Risk Management
• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Project Management tools (e.g., ERP, Primavera, MS Project).
• A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
