Job summary

Belcan in Macclesfield is seeking a Project Document Controller to join our Asset Information Team. You will manage project information, ensure drawings and maintenance documentation are accurate, and support lifecycle transitions into operational systems.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and Contractors to keep information on track, maintain EDMS controls, and drive improvements in document management across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Document Controller, Asset Information, or Project Support.
• Strong EDMS knowledge and document lifecycles.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and database handling.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality, control and transition of project documentation & asset information.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Teams & Contractors.
• Create Asset Information Delivery Plans (AIDPs) at project initiation.
• Track and report progress against information deliverables.
• Coordinate RFIs from contractors and stakeholders.
• Update drawings, procedures and maintenance docs after changes.
• Load documentation into electronic document management systems.
• Support asset information across databases and systems.
• Attend progress meetings and provide input on information management.
• Monitor handover milestones and escalate risks to delivery; support audits and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in information management processes.
