Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a seasoned Document Controller to support a flagship data centre project in Middlesbrough, UK. You will manage project documentation, ensure traceability, and maintain compliance across design, construction, and commissioning phases.

You will coordinate with Design, Engineering, Construction, Quality, and Commercial teams, perform quality checks, and keep document registers up to date while ensuring timely distribution and archiving of information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction, engineering, data centre, or similar complex projects.
• Experience with document lifecycle management, revision control, metadata, workflows and registers.
• Experience using ACC or other Common Data Environment platforms.
• Experience managing technical documentation, drawings, submittals, RFIs, supplier docs and project records.
• Strong MS Excel and Office skills; excellent organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation within Common Data Environments (CDEs) including ACC and other platforms.
• Ensure all docs are recorded, distributed, filed, and maintained per CTS/client requirements.
• Perform quality checks on numbering, naming, revisions, metadata, and completeness.
