Job description

Project Architect - High-End Hospitality, Residential, Commercial Sectors (UK & International)

Competitive Salary + Hybrid Working, Christmas Closure, Monthly Socials, & Professional Development

This is an opportunity for a Project Architect with a passion for high-end hospitality to join a small, ambitious design studio delivering beautifully detailed projects in London and internationally. The practice is currently working on some UK and international hotel projects and is particularly keen to meet architects who understand the level of design, detailing, materiality and coordination that luxury hospitality demands. Alongside hotels, the portfolio includes exceptional private residential and selected commercial projects, giving you plenty of variety without losing that focus on quality.

This is a hands-on studio where you'll work closely with the directors, have direct contact with clients and take genuine ownership of your projects. If you enjoy being involved from design development through to the technical stages and construction, rather than being limited to one part of the process, this could be a brilliant next move.

Where You'll Make Your Mark

You’ll take responsibility for projects through design and delivery, with a particular focus on RIBA Stages 3 to 5. You’ll coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers while maintaining the high level of design quality and detailing expected across luxury hospitality and residential work. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute directly to the studio's international hotel projects, developing valuable experience in a growing area of the practice.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead high-end hospitality, residential and commercial projects through design and delivery.
  • Take ownership of projects across RIBA Stages 3 to 5, with opportunities for broader all-stage involvement.
  • Develop beautifully considered design and technical packages.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Work directly with clients and maintain strong relationships throughout the project.
  • Attend design meetings, workshops and site visits.
  • Resolve technical and construction issues while protecting the original design intent.
  • Contribute to the selection and development of materials, finishes, details and interiors.
  • Help maintain an exceptional standard of design and delivery across the studio.
What We're Looking For
  • An ARB Architect with at least five years' post qualified, relevant professional experience.
  • High-end hospitality experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in high-end residential, commercial or HRB projects would also be valued for this role.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design quality and attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3 to 5.
  • Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating external teams.
  • A genuine interest in interiors, materials and craftsmanship.
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership.
Why This One Stands Out
  • The opportunity to work on some amazing international hotel projects.
  • High-end hospitality and residential work where design quality really matters.
  • Direct collaboration with the practice directors.
  • Genuine project ownership rather than being limited to one work stage.
  • Working from home flexibility.
  • Christmas closure.
  • Monthly team socials.
  • Support for further learning and professional development.
  • A small, ambitious studio where your contribution will be noticed.
  • Real exposure to architecture, interiors, materials and craftsmanship.
  • and more.
Interested?

For an architect who loves the detail and atmosphere of high-end hospitality, this is a particularly exciting opportunity. You'll have international hotels to get stuck into, beautifully crafted London projects alongside them, and the freedom to take real ownership of your work.
