We are recruiting for a Project Administrator to join a successful, employee-owned business based in Woking. This is a varied, behind-the-scenes administration role where you'll become an important part of a close-knit team, providing day-to-day support and helping to keep projects, schedules and administration running smoothly.

This is primarily an office-based administrative position rather than a telephone-heavy or client-facing role. You'll work closely with the contracts team and provide key support behind the scenes, so excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to pick up new systems quickly are essential.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the contracts team
Coordinate subcontractors, temporary staff and site schedules
Assist with arranging site visits, inspections and follow-up works
Arrange plant and equipment hire and waste collections where required
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
Prepare, update and organise project paperwork and documentation
Assist with RAMS and other project-related documentation
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
Keep schedules and project information accurate and up to date
Support the team with general administration and ad hoc requirements
Help ensure deadlines are met and nothing gets missed
Previous experience within administration, project support, coordination or a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A genuine team player with a positive, proactive attitude
Someone dependable who takes ownership of their work
The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Good Microsoft Office skills
Strong written communication skills
Comfortable working independently while supporting a wider team
Experience within construction, landscaping, facilities, maintenance, property or a contractor-led environment would be advantageous but isn't essential
Due to the office location, candidates will ideally need to drive and have access to their own transport.
