Job summary

GALENT is recruiting a Project Accountant to manage financial reporting and cost control for a portfolio of capital projects across the renewable energy sector. The role offers exposure to development, construction and long-term operation stages, collaborating with project managers and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have ACCA/CIMA training or equivalent, solid project accounting experience, and strong Excel and ERP capabilities. Hybrid working with office-based support is provided.

Responsibilities

• Preparing weekly and monthly project financial reports.

• Preparing cashflow reporting and management information.

GALENT are recruiting for a Project Accountant opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong project accounting, management accounting or commercial finance experience. They will accept UK wide applications and offer weekday accomodation. The role would suit individuals from construction, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, utilities, energy or other project-based environments looking to join a rapidly growing business. Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy platform that develops, builds, owns and operates biomethane infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are seeking a commercially focused Project Accountant to support a portfolio of major capital projects. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from development and construction through to long-term operation, within one of the UK's most attractive renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities include:
