Emmaus Oxford is looking for a compassionate and motivated Progression Worker to join our team and help people overcome homelessness for good.
At Emmaus Oxford, we provide people experiencing or at risk of homelessness with a stable home, meaningful opportunities and tailored support to help them build a positive future. We take a person-centred, strengths-based approach, working alongside people to build confidence, develop independence and achieve their goals.
As a Progression Worker, you’ll provide high-quality, structured support to people living in our supported housing. You’ll work alongside each person to develop and review individual support and progression plans, helping them make progress in areas such as housing, health and wellbeing, finances, life skills and employment.
The role combines hands-on support, housing management and effective partnership working, with a strong focus on helping people develop the skills and confidence they need to move on successfully to independent living.
We’re looking for someone who is committed to working in a trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred way, with excellent communication, organisation and record‑keeping skills. Most importantly, you’ll share our belief that no one’s life should be defined by homelessness and that everyone deserves the opportunity to create a positive future.
If you’re passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals and would like to make a real difference as part of the Emmaus Oxford community, we’d love to hear from you.
