New College Doncaster, part of New Collaborative Learning Trust, is seeking a Progress Tutor to support students and raise aspiration, performance and resilience.
You will work with students on goal-setting, monitoring attendance and achievement, liaising with parents, subject teachers and senior staff to motivate and raise standards. The college serves around 1,500 students across A Level and Level 3 courses. This is a permanent, term-time plus one week role with flexible hours.
Salary: Band H - I NCLT Support Staff Pay Scale (£32,199 - £38,897) FTE,Actual salary £27,905 - £33,710 based on a 5-day post. 4-day salary would be pro-rated.
Contract Type: Part time or Full time (4 - 5 days a week), Term Time + 1 week (39 weeks)

Working as a Progress Tutor you will contribute to the development of student support through raising aspiration and performance and helping to build ambition, confidence and resilience in young people. The team of Progress Tutors is central to the College and to the establishment and maintenance of a culture of hard work, success, resilience, and target achievement.
As a Progress Tutor you will work in a diverse range of ways with students including goal-setting, monitoring achievement and attendance and motivational coaching. You will be expected to liaise with parents, Subject Teachers, Heads of Faculty and Senior Progress Tutors. You will also support, challenge and motivate students in all aspects of their learning journey.
