Job summary

New College Doncaster, part of New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT), seeks an exceptional teacher for A-level Maths and A-level Further Maths. You will inspire and engage students 16–19, delivering high-quality lessons and contributing to a thriving science, maths and computing culture.

The role is part-time (2 days/week) at New College Doncaster with a focus on improving outcomes, raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community.

  • Contribute to department improvement and collaboration within the School of Science, Maths and Computing.

Salary: NCLT Teaching College Main Scale NSP1-NSP9, £14,240 - £22,005 pro rata (£33,465 - £51,714 FTE), dependent on experienceA recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

Contract Type: Part time, 2 days a week

Contract Term: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our School of Science, Maths and Computing. You will have experience of teaching both ALevel Maths and A Level Further Maths. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range. With a demonstrable record of outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training, you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.

New College Doncaster, an academic sixth form college, offers a distinctive young adult ethos and is a great place to work and study. With 1500 students, New College Doncaster has grown rapidly since opening in 2017 and students make exceptional progress in both A level and Level 3 Applied General courses.
