Job summary

New College Doncaster, an academic sixth form college, offers a distinctive young adult ethos and is a great place to work and study. With 1500 students, New College Doncaster has grown rapidly since opening in 2017 and students make exceptional progress in both A level and Level 3 Applied General courses.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our School of Science, Maths and Computing. You will have experience of teaching both A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching A Level Maths and Further Maths in a post-16 setting.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities in the 16–19 range.
  • Commitment to raising aspirations and contributing to college community.

Responsibilities

  • Teach A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths to 16–19 students.
  • Engage and motivate learners with high expectations.
  • Contribute to the wider college community and collaborate with staff.

Salary: NCLT Teaching College Main Scale NSP1-NSP9, £14,240 - £22,005 pro rata (£33,465 - £51,714 FTE), dependent on experience A recruitment and retention allowance may be offered for an outstanding candidate.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our School of Science, Maths and Computing. You will have experience of teaching both A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range. With a demonstrable record of outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training, you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.
