An established industry player in mental health education is seeking an organized and proactive administrative support professional for their Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. This full-time role involves working closely with the Senior Programme Officer and the CBT Core Teaching Team to ensure smooth operations of the teaching programme. You will play a vital role in managing student queries, admissions, and assessments while fostering effective relationships within the team. The Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (PGDip in CBT) is an NHSE clinically commissioned training programme and a British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) level 2 accredited course. It is based in the Department of Psychology, School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences (MHaPS), Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London (KCL).
The programme is a highly competitive one-year training course for qualified mental health professionals, providing practical, intensive, and detailed skills training to facilitate skills development and competence in CBT. Trainees on the course work in Talking Therapy Services (TTS) within NHS Trusts whilst being trained in evidence-based CBT for adults with depression and anxiety disorders.
The purpose of this role is to provide high quality administrative support for the PgDip in CBT teaching programme. The post holder will work with a Senior Programme Officer on the delivery of all areas of administration. This includes queries, admissions, student progression, examinations & assessments, student feedback, teaching, and clinical placements.
The post holder will provide a high standard of support to the Senior Programme Officer, Course Co-Directors, the CBT Core Teaching Team, and the trainees.
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 1st June 2026.
