Position Title: Social Care Programme Officer X2
Location: London Fields (NCB promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working. Staff can work remotely for part of the week if they wish and in the office or face-to-face for 2 days per week)
Status: Full Time (35 hours), Permanent
Salary: £34,620. Other benefits include 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (and an additional 3 days leave for Christmas org-wide shut down).

We are looking for a Social Care Programme Officer(s) to contribute to and support our exciting programmes of work across children’s social care. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in being involved in national transformation programmes to improve outcomes for looked after young people and those leaving care, with a particular focus on implementing a new regime to regulate supported accommodation for 16 and 17-year-olds.
The successful candidate(s) will have experience and/or interest in children’s social care practice. They should be highly motivated and confident in developing resources and materials for various engagement, learning, and development opportunities for professionals, as well as co-facilitating training and group learning.
Excellent communication skills are essential, along with strong IT and writing skills. You need to be passionate, interested in social care, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working independently and with colleagues across the organization.
As a Social Care Programme Officer, you will support the operational delivery of current projects, including those for disabled children and children with Special Educational Needs and their families, as well as projects related to social care policy and practice. You will have opportunities to participate in and support networks hosted by NCB and collaborate with colleagues and partners to influence social care policy and practice.
