Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking Programme Managers to support capital maintenance, S101A and water recycling across the East Anglia region, including Colchester. Hybrid working is available for effectively leading multiple project streams to deliver on time, cost and quality targets.

You will report into governance groups, manage risks, build business cases and coordinate with Client stakeholders, supply chain and internal teams to realise the programme’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Quantity Surveyor or similar degree.
• Multi-disciplined construction experience.
• Operations management across building disciplines with commercial, contractual and HR skills.
• Proven track record of improved client relationships through successful project delivery.
• Achievement of improved safety performance and industrial relations management.
• Engaging and retaining high quality staff to achieve high performance levels.
• Proven history in effective programme management.
• Ability to influence a range of stakeholders including external groups.
• Broad understanding of the regulatory and operating environment.
• Proven short-, medium- and long-term planning experience across wide areas of the business.
• Drives continuous improvement of process and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple project executions, ensuring profitability, efficiency and compliance with targets.
• Report to governance groups and measure programmes against cost, benefit, performance, delivery and timescales.
• Assess opportunities, identify dependencies and generate appropriate programme of work.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures across programme outputs.
• Report progress and communicate business initiatives and investments to stakeholders.
• Develop business cases, form project groups/workstreams and track performance.
